Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of construction projects.
- Ensure that construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Manage and supervise all construction personnel, including contractors, subcontractors, and laborers.
- Ensure that all construction work is performed in accordance with local building codes, safety regulations, and other applicable laws and regulations.
- Review and approve all construction plans, specifications, and drawings to ensure that they meet project requirements and are feasible to implement.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure that all project requirements are met and that construction work is performed to the highest quality standards.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates, and ensure that all construction work is completed within these parameters.
- Monitor and report on project progress, and communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and other construction professionals.
- Ensure that all construction work is performed safely and that all workers are trained and equipped to perform their jobs safely.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in construction management, with a focus on site work and utilities.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles, practices, and techniques.
- Experience with construction planning, scheduling, budgeting, and project management.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise construction personnel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other construction professionals.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
